The selection process

Our team members have great attitudes - and we're telling the world this in the hope that if you too have a great attitude then LivingWell is the company for YOU! In LivingWell we recognise that finding and attracting new team members is becoming all the more challenging, with just about every business wanting to employ team members with great attitudes. We also acknowledge that if you're looking for a new opportunity you have a greater choice than you may have ever had before.

When it comes to recruiting new team members our message is very simple:
'Team members in LivingWell have fantastic attitudes, so if you're looking for a job
and have the right attitude, LivingWell is the place for you!'

Don't worry if you don't fit the traditional "health & fitness" stereotype or if you don't have any experience in health clubs. LivingWell is different from many traditional health club operators in that we'll look at things other than your age or waist size. What we actually want are people who can listen to, and talk and empathise with members and truly live by our SPiiCE values.

Our selection process is rigorous but we're sure you'll understand why that's the case when we are genuinely looking to bring new team members in to our teams who have great attitudes.

Application form

We ask that you complete the online application form as thoroughly as possible, answering all questions in complete detail.

Application form screening

Once you have submitted your on-line application you will be emailed to confirm that we have received it. We will check through it and review the content of your application against a number of factors largely linked to delivering great customer service.

Once screened and if your application is successful we will be in contact to invite you an interview. Unfortunately if your application is not successful we will not be able to give you feedback. We try and acknowledge all applications within fourteen days of receipt.

Interviews

We often conduct our interviews in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. All of our managers have received thorough training on how to recruit "the LivingWell way" in order to help get best from you at the interview. If you are successful you will be invited back for a 2nd interview. If you are not successful, you will be advised in writing, but again we will not be be able to offer individual feedback.

References, criminal record check and medical

Your contract will be subject to the receipt of satisfactory references, criminal record check (for certain positions) and a medical questionnaire. If you are successful, you will be expected to supply LivingWell with all of this information before you join us.
